HEX is a six digit value used in HTML, CSS and SVG to represent colours in your application. The bytes can be separated into groups of two to represent the red, green and blue colour components in the colour shade.
For example to create a red colour you will use the value
#FF0000, to create green colour you will use the value
#00FF00, to create the blue colour you will use the value

RGB values are made up of three values ranging from 0-255. The first value represents the red colour value, the second represents the green colour value and the third value represents the blue colour value.
To create a red colour you will use the RGB value of 255, 0, 0.
To create a green colour you will use the RGB value of 0, 255, 0.
To create a blue colour you will use the RGB value of 0, 0, 255.
Using this tool you can type in the RGB values for the different colour components convert this RGB value into a HEX colour value.
